Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you tee up.
The Product
Our Golf Laser Rangefinder can accurately measure distances from 5 metres up to 1,00 metres (approximately 1,093 yards), making it suitable for golfers of every skill level—from short approach shots to long par 5 tee shots. It also features 7x magnification for a crystal-clear view of your target.
The laser delivers high-precision distance measurements with an accuracy of approximately:
±0.5 metres for targets within 300 metres
±1 metre for targets beyond 300 metres
Combined with Flag Lock technology, you'll receive fast, reliable yardages that help you choose the right club with confidence.
Yes. The built-in voice broadcast is designed to clearly announce your measured distance. In particularly windy conditions or busy golf courses, the spoken distance may be harder to hear, but the measurement is always displayed clearly on the touchscreen for easy viewing.
The touchscreen is responsive and easy to use. Most thin golf gloves will operate the screen without issue, while thicker winter gloves may reduce touch sensitivity.
The built-in rechargeable lithium battery is designed to comfortably last multiple rounds of golf on a single charge under normal use.
A full recharge typically takes around 2–3 hours using the supplied USB charging cable.
Yes. Once the rangefinder detects and locks onto the flag, it provides a subtle vibration confirmation, giving you instant confidence that you've targeted the flag—not objects behind it such as trees or other obstacles.
Combined with Flag Lock technology and a clear distance display, the vibration feedback helps you take quicker, more accurate measurements, so you can choose the right club with confidence and play your best golf.
Weatherproofing
Yes, light rain or mist is generally fine. However, the device is not designed to be submerged in water or exposed to heavy rain for extended periods. We recommend drying it after use and storing it in its protective case.
Like all electronic devices, extreme temperatures can affect battery performance.
For best performance, we recommend using the rangefinder between 0°C and 40°C (32°F–104°F) and storing it between -20°C and 50°C.
Tournament Rules
Yes—when slope mode is turned OFF.
Most competitions allow laser rangefinders that measure distance only. If your model includes slope compensation, simply switch the slope function off before play.
Always check the specific Local Rules for your event.
Absolutely. Most club competitions, social rounds and golf societies permit distance-only rangefinders. If you're unsure, simply confirm with your club before your round.
